Project Description: Condition assessments and valuations of Eskom subtstations that provide dedicated supply to PRASA traction substations. These assets were estimated at a value above R1billion.

- Studying Eskom Single Line Diagrams Provided by PRASA
- Formulating assumptions on different equipment types and ratings
- Searching electrical equipment and prices for the selected equipment ratings
- Formulation of pricing spreadsheet - including research of freight options, construction & commissioning costs, metal prices, queries to sources for estimate prices
- Selection and application of appropriate valuation methodology to the pricing spreadsheet
- Report writing including presentation and full word report
